We spent one day in the little village of Shimoni near Tanzanian’s Border in order to find a boat to go to Pemba Island

Here we enjoyed good and fresh sea food at a little local restaurant : The Four Table

 

But we had an horrible night (Loud everywhere, EXTREMELY HOT, no water, no electricity…) on a local « hotel »

And unfortunately, we learnt that our boat can only leave Shimoni in 2 days… Too bad.

So we decided to go to Dar Es Salam (Tanzanian capital) to take a ferry from there directely to Zanzibar Island.
